Upon speaking to the most bland rep (Tiara) who did not have the courtesy to speak politely, even when greeted her... with "Hello Goodmorning" respectfully I explained my assistance request. She told me I called last month, I explained to her she was incorrect I had not been late.
She then dismissed me with pay by Friday. I asked her if there was something else she could do and was told no. Again please be reminded, I called them and they didn't have to call me because I understand my obligations and want to maintain them. I inquired could a manager help.
After speaking to a manager, I was told pay Friday or we will shut my car off. I attempted to appeal to him but was met with the same bland attitude. When a customer consistently honors a commitment without collections and then reaches out to you for assistance is not the right thing to do offer some?

Here's there response...
I understand the concerns of Mr. xxxxx. However he is aware that there is no grace period on payments with I.D.A. LLC and his payments are due on or before the 25th of each month. This is also a new account that he has paid only 8 payments on. Mr. xxx did call on 8-27-12 and stated that his school deducted money from his account early and he needed to wait until he got money from the government.
Unfortunately, we cannot wait an indefinite period of time for him to receive funds from the government. If his account representative is willing to allow him to pay on 8-31-12, he will need to make financial arrangements to pay on that date.
Here is where the lie began...
*I never request indefinite period of time only additional week.
*I never spoke to the responder.
*also his facts were wrong or can I say based upon his views
My response to their rebuttal
I understand the grace period. I asked the representative for an additional week to allow me to make the payment. She advised me she would be able to assist. At which i requested if a manager may be able to help. I never requested an indefinite period of time. I was not give the an opportunity to of an arrangement pass the 31st. Additionally, this account is new but I have paid a car through IDA before. Additionally, my account has been paid consistently for 10 months at 470 and a 1600 dollar down payment. That is 5000.00 plus on time. Therefore your consideration would be welcome.
Call on 31st... spoke to manager... who was polite and responsive... that advised because I filed the BBB complaint they would be shutting the car off...
Lesson: Guard your credit... no matter the economy... and stay away from IDA
