id protect scam

this whole thing you experienced with sov id protector is a huge scam from the get go and every new account holder and or old customer receiving a new debit card is effected. I am am an ex employee of the company so IM GONNA explain. when you get a new card( wither your new to the bank or not) theres a 1800 number on it.
it says to call it to activate it. once you call the call goes to a third party company hired by sov in CANADA to sell you id pro not the bank itself. u ask to activate your card and they say "sure but before I do" they read a huge script about id pro and once there done they say are you interested?"
of course unless your an idiot you say no. they then say theres a "problem" with activating your card. and they have to transfer you to another agent. this is when they send you to the bank customer service. so u get worried and go "whats the problem?" the agent you speak to has no idea what the problem is because guess what "THERE IS NO PROBLEM" its just you said no to the guy selling you something and because hes not a bank employee he can't help you!.
but unknown to you the person at the bank they transfer you to can't help you either. this is because to activate any new debit or check card there are 2 ways 1) make a purchase using your pin or 2) use your new card at a sov atm. so knowing this why would they send you over and waste more of your time?
because that person thats at the banks job is now to sell you over draft protection! when you say no to that to they tell you u have Togo to an atm anyway. the whole point is to sell u product the more your invested in the bank the more money they make.
also every time you call the banks customer service line and speak to an agent for any reason they can now take you ssn# run it thru a computer and the comp generates a list of products to sell you be it accounts, auto loans, over draft pro, id pro whatever. And when they agent sells you something they have to write down your ssn and it stays on there desk til the end of the day so they can show proof that they sold something and get credit for it
my advice having been on the inside is get your money the EFF outta that bank!
