How can i stop i*friends elite from getting over 5 pounds per month from my credit card account. This has happened for 4 months. I have not agreed anything with them and have not used their site. I give them my details thinking their site was free

We were able to locate Tommcp's iFriends account. We have refunded all charges which were billed to him and have cancelled the account. Tommcp should see the refunds to his account within the next 7 to 10 business days.

When Tommcp created the account, he affirmatively chose to enroll in the upgraded iFriends Elite membership. The regular iFriends membership is free, but the Elite membership that Tommcp chose to access has a monthly charge associated with it. This charge was clearly and conspicuously disclosed in advance, and Tommcp elected to create his account with the Elite membership.

Whenever we send a charge to a credit card, we also include a toll-free telephone number, specific to the user's country in this case, Ireland that he or she can use to contact us if there are any questions about the charge or about the account. We also provide a link to email and telephone contact information on every page of our website. Despite this, Tommcp never contacted us to question the charges which had appeared on his bill. Had he done so, we would have been happy to immediately refund the charges and cancel the account. As stated above, we have cancelled Tommcp's account and have refunded all charges. If Tommcp has any further questions, we strongly encourage him to contact our Customer Care department directly at 00-800-4374-3637. Representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our company has an exemplary 11-year-record with all of the leading consumer protection agencies, and we are an industry leader in the development of model online consumer best practices.
