8/2/2008 I bought and paid for a couch, love seat, recliner, a coffee table, 2 end tables, a kitchen table and 4 chairs for our new home. All the furniture was to be picked up the following weekend.
A day before I was going to pick it up I called the salesman (Scott Osbourne) he said the recliner didn't come in and they would deliever it the next weekend after he had the full order. I called Scott and he said he a family emergency in NC., it would be delievered the next weekend. The next weekend the transmission went out of the delievery truck. The next weekend he couldn't get a hold of the warehouse where the furniture was coming from. I then told him the furniture had to be delievered or I was going to take legal action against his company. Two days later the his phone was shut off.
It took me 3 weeks to find a phone number for Ingram Home Furnishing, the company that Scott worked for. I talked to the owner of the company Mark Ingram, he told me that I would get a full refund of my money and the interest paid up to date on the credit card that I purchased the furniture on. I faxed him all my information, including a copy of the receipt with his company on it, my credit card statements and all my personal information.
I talked to him atleast 3 times a week and faxed him my information 3 times ( 11/6/2008, 11/13/2008 and 12/3/2008). Each time I talked to him, stated that he would send the money out, it will be mailed out tomorrow, you should get it in 4 -5 days, if you don't get it tomorrow give me a call and I will overnight it to you... that was the last I heard from him. Since then he is only taking messages and not returning phone calls.
Because of people like Scott Osbourne and Mark Ingram in the US, they are the reason why people can't be trusted. They destroy the faith that some people still have. They ruin kid's Christmas' by frauding people out of their hard earned money.
