===================== NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED
===================== IPA Advisory & Intermediary Services ripoff harsh and abusive Director - Ross Aria Ripoff Why would you want to do business with these people? Buffalo Grove Illinois
On Monday, 11/22/04, a representative from IPA Advisory & Intermediary Services, LLC came to my office to discuss how he might be able to help me refinance a business loan that I have through the SBA. At the end he convinced me to allow an associate of his to come in and analyze my company for a price of $1250.00. The analyst was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, 11/30/04.
After discussing this with my accountant and some other confidants and running some analysis based on various cost scenarios, the overall financial advantage of working with IPA Advisory & Intermediary Services, LLC did not seem to make sense.
So on the following day, 11/23/04 I sent Ross Ario, a Director at their Buffalo Grove, Illinois office, a short fax indicating that I had changed my mind and requesting that they cancel the appointment. Certainly a weeks notice would be enough time to reschedule the analyst and would not waste their time or money.
Today, 11/24/04, I received a call from Ross Ario indicating that he was not pleased by my decision to cancel the appointment. He began to cross-examine me about why I had changed my mind and I told him I had an MBA and could run the numbers using some what if cases and after I had the opportunity to do so what they were propsoing did not make sense. He asked me a few more questions and then called me a liar.
So I hung up!
About fifteen minutes later Ross Ario called again. His opening remark was I think we were disconnected.
I replied no, I hung up on you.
He then said, "The biggest challenge I have in my job is dealing with people who are idiots." Blah, Blah, Blah.....
I said almost not believing my ears - actually several times in a row - "Did you just call me an idiot?"
He finally replied, "As I said, the biggest challenge I have in my job is dealing with people who are idiots. Did I stutter?"
Enough of this crap I thought, I hung up a second time.
Maybe two hours later, I receive a third call from Ross Ario. I think to set the record straight. This time he proceeds to tell me that he was not calling me an idiot, but that he was simply calling me a liar and have a happy holiday.
I suppose that setting the record straight and wishing me a happy holiday would somehow make me feel that doing business with IPA Advisory & Intermediary Services, LLC was a good idea.
I have several questions.
What charm school did Ross Ario go to that gave him the idiotic idea that calling a potential customer a liar and an idiot would help him close a deal?
What was Ross Ario's motivation? Close the deal or kill the client?
And gee, did he have to call me three times?
Why would anyone in their right mind want to provoke a customer to take the kind of action that I am taking at this moment? How could my anger and wrath be helpful to their business?
Why would anyone ever want to do business with IPA Advisory & Intermediary Services, LLC? I will NEVER do business with these people.
As far as I am concerned, if I can do harm to their business model by writing a negative letter like this then I will be all to happy to do so on every occasion I get.
