THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A SELF PROCLAIMED WELL OIL MACHINE REALLY SHOULD DO MORE HOMEWORK ON WHO THEY HOOK. NOT EVERY SMALL MOM & POP OPERATION CAN FIT THEIR MOLD. THEY PROBABLY HAVE HELPED LOTS OF COMPANIES, BUT THERE ARE SOME COMPANIES THAT COULD NOT BE HELPED. IPA SHOULD SLOW DOWN A LITTLE AND TREAT SMALL OPERATIONS WITH A LOT MORE RESPECT AND NOT ANOTHER CASH FLOW CANDIDATE. LETS FACE IT THEY ARE IN BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY TOO, AND ARE NOT OUT THERE DOING THIS OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF THEIR HEARTS. JOHN BURGESS (FOUNDER) IS A PHOTO OP KING. I AM THE OWNER OF A 5 EMPLOYEE SHOP IN PHILADELPHIA STUGGLING JUST LIKE HALF THE SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE US ARE. AN IPA REP CAME TO MY DOOR CLAIMING SHE HAD AN APPOINTMENT, WHICH I NEVER MADE BUT GAVE HER THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. SHE GAVE HER PITCHES. AND AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGEMENT I FELL FOR IT SHE THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT ANOTHER REP WOULD FOLLOW UP IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THAT REP. WAS AT MY DOOR THE FOLLOWING MORNING AND SPENT 4 HOURS CONVINCING ME THAT IPA WOULD SOLVE ALL OF MY PROBEMS FOR IN EXCESS OF 40,000.00 USD OVER THE PERIOD OF 4 CONSULTATIONS. AND ALSO HIS FEE WAS 650.00. I DID NOT HAVE A GOOD FEELING BUT PROCEDED ANY WAY. I REALLY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO DO ANY HOME WORK TO INVESTIGATE THE INTEGRITY OF THIS COMPANY I JUST TRUSTED THEM TO MUCH.
THEY SENT TWO REPS. OUT TWO DAYS LATER AND THEY WENT RIGHT TO WORK AFTER INTERVIEWING ME FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS THIS WENT ON FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK THEY NEVER TOLD ME I WOULD BE SPENDING MOST OF MY VALUBLE TIME WITH THEM. AFTER THEY WERE DONE I WAS HANDED AN INVOICE FOR 10,000.00 WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PAYED UPON RECEIPT. I TOLD THEM I DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY THEM WHICH AFTER BEING IN MY BOOKS ALL WEEK THEY ALREADY KNEW. THEY CONTACTED A REP AT IPA AND AGGREED ON THREE SEPERATE CHECKS POST DATED.
BEFORE THE TWO REPS LEFT MY PLACE I WAS ALSO OBLIGATED TO PAY FOR THEIR EXPENSES AND WROTE THEM A CHECK FOR THAT TOO.
I ALSO TOLD ONE OF THE REPS TO LET IPA KNOW NOT TO DEPOSIT THE FIRST CHECK FOR 5 DAYS BECAUSE THERE WOULD NOT BE ENOUGH TO COVER IT. 2 DAYS LATER I GOT A CALL FROM MY BANK TELLING ME I WAS OVER DRAWN. I HAVE NEVER I 20 YEARS HAVE EVER BEEN OVERDRAWN. IPA DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS THEY ARE MORE CONCERNED IN PUTTING THE MONEY IN THE BANK. THAT WAS NOT THE ONLY TIME THEY DID THIS. I HAD THREE OTHER INCIDENTSOF DIAGREEMENTS BUT IT WAS VERY ONE SIDED IT WAS MY FAULT FOR TRUSTING THESE F..ING NIT WITS.
BEFORE THEY DEPOSITED THE FINAL CHECK I CALLED MY BANK AND PUT A HOLD ON IT. THE NEXT DAY IPA'S LAW DEPT FAXED ME A INSIGHTFUL LETTER ON THE PRACTICES OF CHECK STOPPING. I CONCEDED AND RELEASED THE CHECK. AFTER CONSULTING WITH THREE ACCOUNTING FIRMS THEY IN SHORT TOLD ME THAT ALL THEY (IPA) DID FOR ME WAS PRODUCE A CASH FLOW CHART WHICH COULD BE DONE IN LESS THAN A DAY,PROVIDED THAT MY BOOKS WERE IN GOOD ORDER WHICH THEY WERE. IPA IN MY OPINION MISLEAD ME AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY SHORT COMINGS.
FROM THE START IF THE REP THAT FIRST CAME TO MY DOOR WAS HONEST AND NOT TOLD ME THAT SHE HAD AN APPOINTMENT AND THAT SHE WAS JUST ON A RANDOM CALL I WOULD HAVE NEVER LET HER IN MY OFFICE. IPA STATED THAT SHE DID HAVE AN APPOINTMENT AND IT WAS COMPUTER GENERATED, FROM A TELEMARKETED PHONE CALL. I WAS DEFINITELY RIPPED BIG TIME AND WOULD ARGUE ENDLESSLY WITH ANY OF THE REPS AT THIS OUTFIT. I PRAY THE MANIAC THAT STARTED THIS COMPANY ENDS UP IN JAIL FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMEBODY AT A NEWS EXPOSE' STATION TO DO SOME INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING
