I am currently a student at ITT TECH, and as a 23 yr old single mom . I want(ed) to provide a better life to my daughter than I had. I am tired of struggling and wondering how am I going to do this and pay this. I always wanted to go to college. Never applied to any before ITT, and again now I wonder why me? They are charging me $40,000 to get a associates degree in visual communications. The second quarter is 2 weeks from being over and I'm done. I'm wondering why I'm the only one I know not recieiving any money back from my loans and/or grants. That is intended to help me accelerate my education. I've barely learned from this school and what's sad is that I really want to learn. But I refuse to spend $40,000 ona degree that is not promising. I feel robbed first and foremost. I feel like they've robbed my daughter who depends on me. All of my books are in excellent conidtion because I only 2 out of the 10 I were given for the qtr 1& 2. I am very upset and emotional right now, I work so hard to be robbed by a school I thought I could trust and give me a brighter future. I don't see how these people sleeep at night. I am definitely filing a lawsuit and if any lawyers want to help me out please contact me. Also my grades were not accurate at all. I was very attentive and cared in the 1st qtr when I complained on the student survey, seemed like things changed alittle bit. Yet and still you call tell the instructor don't care for student appreciation week we recived dollar tree candy and freshly stirred lemoade in a sports cooler. And it was limit at that they gave us tickets. We never used our books in classes. We always left early and the dean would not speak to you unless approached. And I wonder why there are graduates at ITT now employeed outside sweeping up cigarette butts for a paycheck. That's what a degree from itt tech gave him? Please help!!

Ok, I need to clarify some things ITT 1) did not follow guidlines and explained nothing to me about my student laons and grants. I signed a peice of paper that I was told was going to send the loan company back any overaward but what the paper really said was they were going to deposit in their adminstrative acct. This was a "request for budgetary assistance on my federal stafford sub & unsub loans. I do not need any help budgeting my money. The paper also stated that I could write a letter to ITT canceling this request because this is not mandatory. The head of fianace told me they only thing she was going to do with my letter was stick it in my file. Not only are they fraudlently keeping my refund money. My finicial aid coordinator ms. Moore fraudently changed the set interest rate 4.5% from the Fedloan. Agency to 5.6% and when I asked her about this she said the loan company probably dropped the rate. I talked to fedloan and this is not true. And I have all the neccessary documents that is needed to file a lawsuit against them They are now saying that I can not receive my transcrpit until I pay off ITT. This has got to stop. Please help
