    There is no doubt in my mind that ITT is among schools today that are ripping student off.  In today's economic uncertainty, the last thing u want to do is to be in debt for the rest of your life.  Am here to share my horrific story with ITT tech so that other unknown victims will  not fall into thier web of lies.  I know that other for profit schools like Univerisity of Phoenix, Kaplans are all in the same business. 
    I arrived here in the states about three yrs ago.  Little did I know that for profit schools are expert in targetting new immigrants and low income families.  I blame myself for not researching about the US school system.  I never knew that one had to live in California for a year to establish residency.  For this reason, i was not allowed to enroll in a class at my local community college.  I did not know that private schools do not require one to have residency.  After two months of waiting, i decided to call some few schools, among them was ITT tech.  They invited me to their campus tour.  That very day, i was asked to take their so called "easy" math and english test.  Little did i know it was a trap.  On my interview, the recruiter told me that the government pays for all tuition so i have nothing to worry about.   Before i realized, the financial aid officer was in the office helping me with my fafsa.  I questioned myself why everything is being rushed.  I think at this point I should have known that something was fishy.  My recruiter then asked me to start class tomorrow.  After three months, I realized most student in my class were all in the military.  Through my conversation with them, I realized that their tuition  are paid by the GI bill.  Thats when I realized that I was in big trouble.  I started researching and found out that the units were not transferrable and the school was not accredited. I stopped immidiately and realized I owe $13000.  I have learnt my lesson and i  know its better that owing $55000.  All i want to say to folks out there, beware of what is happening in these profits schools.   They give deceitful promises about helping u find a job.  By the time u realized, u have become enslaved forever.  Ignorance is not an excuse, Beware!!!
