To all viewing this information concerning ITVN, Inc,
When I found the website for ITVN, I was excited to know that there was a company out there offering online streaming movies from the Starz and Encore channel and also the Starz and Encore On Demand services. They offered a package where you would have to join and commit to the service for at least a year. I was ok with that because the price was very reasonable compared to Cable TV. So, I joined.
After receiving ITVN's box and hooking it up, I immediately discovered that part of the package that I was offered didn't work, namely the Starz and Encore channels. I called the company and a rep told me that it would be back up in a few days. Three days went by and still no service. I called and there was no answer. A week went by with no service. I called and a rep said that he didn't know why their service is down, but they are working on it.
At this point I would like to clarify something. As part of the one year commitment, I was promised 17 Starz and Encore channels plus Starz and Encore On Demand movies. The only thing that I got was the On Demand movies. I was disappointed but somewhat relieved that I was getting something. But, less than a month into the service, the Starz and Encore On Demand movies started to disappear.
When I called the company for an explanation, they had disconnected their phone number. I surfed their website and discovered that they put up a notice stating that they are no longer accepting new customers due to a "corporate reorganization". After seeing that information and being unable to reach them by phone, I decided to email them with my questions. After several emails, they never answered me. Some of my questions and concerns were: "Did your company go out of business"? "Do not bill me because you breached the contract and didn't offer me what I was promised in the package". "I would like to cancel my membership". None of my questions or concerns were answered or addressed.
About a month later I noticed that these crooks billed my card. This naturally made my very upset. I thought, "how could these bastards bill me after not offering me any service, not answering any of my questions or concerns, and disconnecting their phone number? Obviously, there are dishonorable people running that company.
What follows is my angry response to being surprised after being hit with a bill.
My card was just billed for $14.95!!! What the hell? You guys can't bill me. Ever since I joined your so called membership you didn't deliver on what was I was promised in the package. So, you in effect breached the contact. How can you now bill me since your service is non-existent? There are no d**n movies on your website. Your Starz service has been down for over a month and you never had Starz and Encore channels since I joined. That is what I expected to get and that is what you failed to deliver. So, I am pissed off and very angry that you greedy bastards billed my card. What the f**k are you thinking? On top of everything, there is no telephone number where anyone from your company can be reached. The excuse that you give on you website is that "we are going through a corporate restructuring". Your service has been plain awful and unprofessional and your customer service has been a joke.
That being the case, TAKE ME OFF OF YOUR FREAKIN MEMBERSHIP IMMEDIATELY AND DON'T BILL MY CARD EVER AGAIN! ALSO, RETURN THE MONEY THAT YOU STOLE FROM ME!!! I say stole because how can you take my money without giving me something in return. I would like to also return the box for a full refund since you breached what was offered in the contract.
I want my issue to be addressed or else I will file legal action against you!!!
Don't ignore my email as you have done time and time again in the past.
