Iwon.com claims that people win on there site every day. Well that may be true but recently I actually hit a slot machine on their chips slot for the jackpot for around $22K and never got the prize. I contacted them via email dozens of times and they only sent a generic response that they recieved my email and would forward it to the appropriate department. I am very upset and angry that Iwon.com didn't pay me my prize money but even more upset that they don't even have the decency to contact me to tell my why. This web site gets paid for every person that clicks on any link on the site and they make a lot of money, but they don't like to give up any of that money even when a person wins a prize like I did. I would suggest not using Iwon.com as users are making a lot of money for the site and getting nothing in return and even after winning a prize on the site Iwon.com refuses to even acknowledge me or apologize or anything. Stop making money for this site, don't use them, Let them know how it feels to be excited about recieving thousands of dollars only to find out the place you supposedly won it from is a fraudulant rip off site. IWON

AUTHOR: Shortstuff - (U.S.A.)

Beverly: IWON only pays cash on the progessive jackpots, everything else is paid out in "play" coins, which you can use to enter sweepstakes. I have won an IWON water bottle and also a gifts.com certificate. Lisa

Prize Machine is a Scam

AUTHOR: Shauna - (U.S.A.)

I have been playing the Prize machine for awhile now and have never won anything. Tonight, I was on IWON's site playing the prize machine and all three stopped on the JVC Camera and stopped long enough to be considered a winner. Then, their site blinked and the third JVC camera was replaced with $5. I know that I did not put any money into this, but you cannot advertise that you have a chance to win and sucker people.

Spyware, data miners.... I love the iwon site. but

AUTHOR: Daniel - (U.S.A.)

It was great for news, stock quotes, contests. I had to stop using it as I discovered dozens and dozens of data miners installed on my computer related to this site. I get enough spam as it is. I miss the site, but I refuse to be tracted while thinking I might win a prize. I use Spybot, Adaware, Windows SP2 Firewall, Zone Alarm Firewall, as well as MacaFee Anti Virus Monotoring. Good luck

How can they afford to pay out $10,000 a day

AUTHOR: Julie - (U.S.A.)

I personally have played at Iwon.com for about 2-3 years now. I am not saying it is not a scam, and I am not saying it is a scam. I don't have enough info to make that decision yet, but I do think they need to be thoroughly investigated. I just can't imagine how this kind of company can pay out the amounts of money they claim.

The claim is: they automatically give out $10,000 on EVERY SINGLE WEEKDAY, they give out $1,000 EVERY WEEKEND, they have the Prize Machine that pays off every few months from approximately $9,000-$30,000, the Prize Machine also gives out expensive electronics prizes, they have the MONTHLY Bonus Prizes amounting to approx. $12,000 EVERY MONTH, they have the DAILY Chip Stakes that pays $50 EVERY DAY and a $500 gift card EVERY month, the Intant Win which pays $5-$1000, not sure how often, you'd have to see the winners page, the Pot Luck that pays $1000 EVERY month, the Pick 7 which pays $70,000 every so often, again you'd have to see the winners page, and of course the Annual (YEARLY, I think) 25 million dollars.

Even with all of the advertising that they do, these amounts seems impossible for this kind of company. Also if you go to the Iwon members forum, other players have posted their concerns as tho whether or not it is for real, they have also stated something which I thought I was the only one who noticed, which is that a lot of the names that have "won" have been posted as winning before.

My personal idea of it, is that the winners pages are bogus, the people in the pictures are paid for their picture and thats it. I also believe that in the winners/members forum, the winner stories are also bogus. I believe this because I just can't imagine any company like this one being able to give out the kind of money that they claim to give away.

I really think they should be investigated, and I will join a lawsuit if there ever was to be one.

It is free to join, so you are not losing any money on it unless you order from them, which is YOUR choice, but free or not they should not advertise falsely or lie about giving all this money away. I'm not saying it is definetly lies, I'm just saying I SUSPECT they are not being HONEST and I think it should be looked in to.

Thanks For Your Time,
ME ;)

You don't win real money in the slots

AUTHOR: Melissa - (U.S.A.)

When you are playing the slots or the casino games on iwon.com (exept the prize machine) you don't win cash prizes. You play for iwon chips that you can use to enter in the My Chips sweepstakes. That's why you have'nt gotten any money. It says that on the page for the Casino Games.

It works, understand your skepticism

AUTHOR: Aaron - (Canada)

I understand your skepticism in this company, but i assure you it is entirely legitimate. I haven't won yet personally, but I have a few direct friends who have and I was part of their fun filled vacation :D.

From what i can tell, you earn entries into a daily and monthly draw but earnings points on the site. If you win through that they will notify you.

However there are games in which you can win, there are numbers that are to verify the claim of winning, you write them down and print screen. if there is any question to your claim of winning, you send them the verification number along with an attached screenshot and they will award you if there is any question of validity.

From what I can tell, and have personally witnessed. This site is legitimate.

Found another address for you

AUTHOR: Jacqueline - (U.S.A.)

This is a somewhat better address, because it is more than just a postofficebox/maildrop. It is:

IWON.EWI
1 Garfield Avenue
Norwhich, CT
(sorry no zip)

Hope it works out.

#10 Consumer Suggestion

I'm sorry to say, maybe you didn't really win. :(

AUTHOR: Jacqueline - (U.S.A.)

My reason for this speculation is because when I accessed their web site, and determined what steps are necessary to claim a prize, this information didn't add up. In the FAQ section a question presented was: "How do I know if I won?" The specific answer was: "An email will be sent to YOU." They will notify you if you have one. It was mentioned that you kept emailing them, and getting automated responces, that you would be transfered to another department. If you had won, the message would be completely different. Like I said, they would contact you first.

They are not being genuine, in how they conduct their site. It could be that they are missleading in how they notify you, that you won. The BBB is pretty lax with corrupt companies, so when they get pushed to the point of giving a business, and unsatisfactory report, you know it is extremely bad.

I would like to suggest that you review those Sweepstakes rules. There may be some detail you innocently overlooked. It's a pretty cluttered busy site. Locating information connected to "actual winnings" is not easy.

Here is one address I managed to find, if you wanted to write to them: IWon.com Official Rules, PO Box 899110, Weymouth, MA, 02189.

Here is some network information through: iwon-gw.customer.alter.net. There Network is UUNET Technologies, 22001 Loudoun County Parkway, Ashburn, VA, 20147, phone: 1-800-900-0241. They could possibly give you a lead, on more contact information.

Sorry, I hope it turns out differently, and that you can contact someone with better information.
