Received cold call from "Verizon Superpages" soliciting a business website service in 2/2009. Later found out that the company doing the calling was Idearc Media. The representative stated they would setup a business website listing in Verizon Superpages for my husband's company, and if not satisfied the customer could always cancel within the first 14 days. The service was supposed to be $60 monthly.

My husband canceled within the first week, the Idearc representative refused to give him any kind of number and stated it was not required, the sevrice was canceled.

180 days later we began receiving bills from collection agencies for Idearc Media. Some bills stated $210, others $450, and one was over $1100. We continue to receive bills and threatening letters from collection agencies.
