Ok Buyers beware. Wirefly.com aka inphonic has ripped me off. I did not get as far getting the rebate. But only as far as them denying me services. Although now where does it say they will hold money from your credit card (My debit card). So when I thought yeah this is a good deal. let me order. I ordered and found out I was not qualified. But in the mean time they charged me 200.00 on my card. they told me "it is to verify your account is valid" I said you first charged me a dollar. so why would you need 200.00 to verify my account. they told me "you ordered protection for your phones and that is why we had to charge you so much". I was so mad. I am not receiving services from them so why would I receive protection. it took them less than a minute to tell me I was denied. But now it is going to take them 5-7 business days to refund my money. I told them that is unacceptable. they said call us with your bank name and fax. and we will fax over a letter stating they can release the funds faster. ok so I call my bank. the lady gives me a # to call in which it will tell you all documents needed to refund the money and the fax number.(the merchant must call to get authorization) I tried to explain to the people at wirefly that they had to call and they would get the fax number and a authorization code for them to refund my money. I said it is automated and take less than two minutes. wirefly would not even take the number. they made me call and get the fax number. so i gave them the fax number. then the lady tells me it takes 2-3 business for us to process the refund and send it to your bank. well my bank told me 48 hours to process the refund. so that is still about 5 days for me to get back money that they did not have my permission to take in the first place. If anyone knows of a lawsuit pending against them or would like to rally together and place a lawsuit please respond. I am so upset.
