My husband and I have been living in this In Town Suites for six weeks now. We have been unable to access our phone messages (we fear we are missing job offers) as there are beeps on the phone showing we have indeed got messages awaiting us. The phone service here is out of order regarding message retrieval also wake up calls. I have reported this three times now in the last six weeks. They just say "the system ain't working" We have made noise complaints with the above neighbors whose child/children jump, run and pound from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. When we report this we are told "kids will be kids and you have to realize people do not take their kids out anywhere so they are closed up and jumping and running will occur." I have been told by security here on the property "there are no quiet hours or City Ordinances regarding noise at anytime of the day or night." The past two nights the neighbors tub has flooded our bathroom and we have been handed a half dozen towels and a humidifier being told to empty the humidifier out every 8 hours. Our toiletries are soaked each time. (Toilet paper and toothpaste powded etc.) Tonight they flooded us again and we were told it may be the toilet upstairs now. Then we were handed more towels and told to clean up. This is such an unsanitary hazard all slippery and flooded. The security guy poked holes in our ceiling to help the water pass easier as well. Now we have all these holes in the bathroom ceiling. We complained about the other neighbors fighting next door at 2:30 in the morning, and having guests partying all hours of the night six times now,and we are told "we gotta rent to some riff raff individuals because times are hard and we need to bring in the money for the company." My husband and I both are working, my is Seasonal (SANTA HELPER) I am still looking, and may be missing the job calls as I mentioned already. We cannot afford an apt or house currently and are stuck here for now. Any help would be appreciated as we are in our fifties and have had health issues (with no medical coverage) been laid off/unemployment causing eviction from our apt. and we could really use any advocacy. We are willing to let anyone take pics of the nightly flooding's in the bathroom and hear the noise disturbances in our room.

The Corporate Office stepped in and had the motel fix the phone system so we are now able to get our messages. Thank God for intervention! This is a blessing now as the $800 a month for the room includes the phone service (working) internet, electric, water, sewer, garbage and cable TV/showtime. For those who cannot afford cell phones, and deposits, credit checks and the utilities of apts. this is the best alternative. With unemployment being what currently is, (for some of us) it is far greater to have the motel option and experience all the systems working that are included in the price!

There is an invention known as a cell phone. Buy one or two. Most of them include an alarm clock, a camera and an audio recorder. That's a total of four items you need.
Have you considered relocating? An apartment certainly costs less than a motel suite.
