 I am reporting Inlet auto salesof Garden City, SC. on 17 Buisness next to Myrtle Bch. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE DECIETFUL PEOPLE...EVER! I explained to them that I needed a dependable vehicle because I have adisability and cannot walk wellor for any length of time.I chose a vehicle I thought would be ok. I asked them what was wrong with it and it was crucial that they were honest with me. I only had enough to pay the price and no money for repairs to speak of. They assured it was a very good vehicle and the only problem was the heat shield was making a vibration and noise. I also noticed it was blowing hot air from A/C.I asked them tofix it and they sent me to a repair shop..(Halls Autorepair.) I ended up getting there andtheengine light came on in the meantime.Halls said it was an EGR valve thatneededto be replace and Ineeded a air conditioning compressor replaced. That is why the engine light cameon. I left there and started on my way home and the rear end started to shimmy.I stopped at Aamco transmission and they told me the transmission would have to be replaced or rebuilt. I called Inlet auto sales and they said they'd talk to owner because I told them it would be 2200.$  to fix it and I was willing to pay 1/2 if they would pAY 1/2.tHEY REFUSED...SAID THEY COULDN'T AFFORD IT. i CALLED THE BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU. THEY WERE MAD AT ME ANDCALLED ME AGAIN YELLING AT ME AND CALLING ME A LIAR SAYING i NEVER TOLD THEM i WAS DISABLE. (lIKE THEY WOULD REALLY CARE). tHEY WILL NOT HELP IN ANY WAY AND i AM FURIOUS THAT THEY WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE  OF ANYONE, LET ALONE A DISABLE PERSON. I am so upset. I bought the vehiclealready a 97 Toyota Rav 4. for 3,000$ and Had to put 2200.$ in transmission.and another 500.$ for EGR valve and compressor. I still have not gotten the title from them yet.They told me it would be 7 days. NOTHING!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are dishonest and I notice there is another complaint on this web site about them also!! I am sick to my stomach with worry! It is either eat or pay this vehicleto get fixed. These people are as cold as they come!!! I only want them to show a good faith effort and pay 1/2the transmission.I think it is only fair. Without that help. I can't afford anything!

I have tried to work with these people for some resolution to this problem. They choose to make the wrong choice.  I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I have a vehicle that has no title, cannot be registered, will not pass NH inspection, I paid 3,300$ for a 1997 Rav 4 put 2,000.4 in transmission 500 for EGR valve and labor. They refused to give me a title after constant attempts. Refuse to help with cost.They have accused me of trying to scam the state of SC.Threatened to have me arrested for tresspassing when I insist on tracking number for title they claim they mail to my home in NH. I cannot register it in SC. because I am not a legal resident and cannot register it in NH because I don't have a title. 

     When I originally went to them I had looked up on Craigslist a Ford Ranger, This is the vehicle they offered to take 1,000$ off of. After seeing the condition and smelling the interior I almost puked (It is still on their lot) I took it out for a test drive and it had no gas in it and the engine light came on. I refused that vehicle.That's when I saw a Rav4 , I asked them about it they claimed it was a great vehicle. I took it out for a test drive. Got stuck in traffic for 40-45 min. There was a vibration and rattle.The lot guy told me "nothing to worry about it was just the heat shield and they had to tighten it. The price was 3,200$ I told them I would give them 3,000 firm (all inclusive) They accepted and before I signed the paper they promised me I would have no problem. They told me a mail lady drove it and loved it.I told themI was disableand on Soc.Sec.and really neededthem to be honest.(So much for GOOD FAITH) I also told them I would be driving it back to NH.and It had to be able to with stand it. They assured me it would be no problem. I also told them I would not buy it unless the A/C was fixed and The heat shield.I paid them, I left and brought it to the garage they sent me to and they charged the A/C and they said they tightened the heater shield.I left there and started to drive down the road and the engine light came on. I turned around and went back to dealership and the place was closed. I went back to garage that charged the A/C and they had just locked the door. I then went to Auto Zone and they ran a diagnostice for me andtold me it was in the fuel system and it wouldn't leave me on the side of the road, but would affect gas milage. The next morning I noticed the brakes squeeling so I went back to garage that charged A/C and they looked at it. They explained the breaks were ok. The EGR Valve would have to be ordered. I left there and made it to my sisters and I noticed the vibration in vehicle was getting worse and worse. I thought it may be the Universal ??? I passed by an Aamco Transmission shop so I stopped in and they checked it out. They then told me it was tranny. The whole vehicle was grinding on take off and 1-2 was gone. The quoted me a price. I called Inlet and they said they would talk to ownwer.I waited, they never returned my call and I called many times. By that time I had to do something. They tore the tranny down and then expained the real issue to me. In the meantime thisInlet auto tried to accuse me of doing the damage  on the test drive and they also accused me of "revving the Engine" and this caused the problem because "They had it checked out and there was no problems with the vehicle...it was in great shape!"  There you have it folks..this is what I'm dealing with. You be the judge. I got screwed by this cco. and they obviously have bigger fish to fry now!They continued to try to threaten me and and use tactics that are less than "proffesional" I can't get any cooperation or title. I have taken steps to recoup some solution. I will not be threatened or badgered by this co. anymore. I live in NH. I have to pay taxes there when I register my vehicle and property taxes are in that mix. I don't try to scam anyone. I am not required to pay taxes in 2 states. If I'm not mistaken i think it's illegal. I paid the price for vehicle all inclusive.I told them not a penny more. Although they did charge me 5% because i put it on my CC. also 150.$ more for something.  Enough is enough. I ended up buying a 97 vehicle that overall cost me 6,000$ I may not be mechanically knowledgeable, but I am far fromStupid! And for future refrences...I never told them I was going to have the vehicle checked out by a garage...this is something they threw in to make a story. The beach traffic was so bad that day it took me 45 just to get back to the dealership..and then they called me an harrased me while I was on the test drive.It was hard to tell about that vehicle because I couldn't get anywhere to drive it. I am beyond dissapointed in this co. They are less than reputable and if you go down there you will see exactly what I mean. This is my last posting on this issue...talking is done. They have failed at all my attempts to resolve this issue. Like I say.. they have bigger fish to fry now. I tried.I will not be treated like this when all I ever asked for was The title and 1/2 the transmission cost.I understand nothing is guarrenteed...but to be lied and decieved intentionally and the threatened..that is just too much. Im done talking! This company thought I would be down the road and "out of sight and out of mind! It would be impossible for me to be able for recourse. Had it not been for the tranny going..I would be. I would be stuck in NH and no vehicle and no way to get back here to deal with it.. Thank God I found out before I got on the Highway! Glad I have a sister here I visit. I am stuck now and the tranny came out of the shop, but now had to go back in because of a seal leaking. They are fixing it. The Aamco transmission place was extremely nice to me, expensive side, but very nice. It's a shame some people have to ruin it for everyone. I spend lots of money when I visit here, but now I am rethinking this. I try to get by just like everyone else, but this company has bleed me dry and kicked me when I'm down...NICE PEOPLE...NOT!!!!!!!

I am not going to argue about this issue. I paid this co. Money got junk and nothing but trouble. I cannot get a straight answer or a title..lots of excuses and lies. No help with transmission or parts. I CAN BACK UP THE FACTS!  I Went back today to get the title because they told me they had it...they also told me i would get it 8 ..9 days ago. They also said it would be mailed to my NH address on liscence...no title  how would you feel? On my visit to pick uptitle ...myself & sister were threatened with arrest for tresspassing.. because we caught them in a lie & questioned it...they  called the police & we were threatened to leave or be arrested! This is how this people respond!!you be the judge...i can only let you know how I have been treated! Good luck! This place gives 2 addresses one in Murrels Inlet & one in Garden City. Not sure why?

 Donna Woolridge came into our business , test drove a Rav 4 took it to have it checked out and came back and purchased, we took $1000.00 off price to help out. We had her take car at no charge to have AC charged as well. Car ran great, we just had it checked out. She gave us a wrong address out of state in order to not have to pay our SC taxes and property taxes. We have just found out she lives in Myrtle Beach, who is the rip off ????
