I also received a threatening phone call from arabic guy's named shawn & norman 646-381-1978 they confirmed they had my sol sec number banking info ect and that they were lawyers to collect a debt for insta cash which they said owns over 500 Online Payday Loan company's and the was representing them and wanted me to give them $931.00 to stop from case of going to court today if it went to court they claimed fines upwards to $8,400. but matter was urgent and that I was being investigated for Bank fraud Theft and I'd be arrested I asked him for further information to confirm more information he couldn't produce anything else but he however had all my personal information and bank account info so I told him I'm a responsible citizen and "if" i've somehow overlooked a debt in error I'd gladly make good on it but i needed to confirm his information with insta Cash he stated that I should check my e-mail for the documents so i did and I spent 3 hours looking for and found nothing i've searched online & in phone book & can't find a phone number for a insta cash he said to call him soon as i could and he'd hold the case for further action he mentioned he was calling from new york state so I don't know what else to do in the matter I read online that other's have had same thing happen to them that it's a scam i called my local attourney generals office today and they stated if doesn't sound right either so i found this blog here where others have commented it's a scam but i'd feel better if someone put my mind at rest i've had online loans in past but i don't ever recall a insta cash as being one i've ever delt with if these guys are a scam they indeed need to be stopped from hurting others
