I got an alarm system through Integrity Alarms back in April 07. I understood it was a 2 year contract. However, I got married and moved in May of 08 and Integrity said the contract was to continue through 18 months then I could cancel and I had to call back to cancel in October.

I did that, I was again told I need to call back in November (Keisha) again. I did that, I was charged in December. I called back (Keisha) again, said it should have all been taken care of by Beverly but that she wasn't available. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited until January to see if I was going to be charged again and, of course, I was. Called again, Keisha put me on eternal hold. Beverly picked up the phone, put me on eternal hold. Said she need to pull my contract and it would take a little time. She finally came back on and stated that I needed to contact ADT directly to cancel.

No one and I mean no one ever told me I had to contact ADT. I actually have a note written on 12/15/08 that "Keisha" would be calling ADT to cancel. And before that I have a note that stated that Angie would be calling ADT to cancel on Nov 30. This company should be put out of business. Horrible customer service and someone needs to investigate their practices.

I got an Alarm system with Integrity Alarms in Dec 2008 and it has worked great. If fact I referred my new nieghbor to them and they went online to do some research and found this report and told me about it and asked what I thought. Well I understand that everyone can find fault in anything if they look hard enough. I also believe that everyone would rather blame someone else rather then think that they could ever be at fault. This person knows that ADT is the one who bills them and monitors there alarm so why would they expect Integrity Alarms to be the one to cancel it for them ? The fact that they are trying to cancel before the 2 year contract is up also tells me that they can't keep there word as they are trying to cancel early.

I am very happy thus far and will continue to refer this company to anyone who asks. I find it just amazing how this person would be willing to just put this company out of business and close them down because they didn't get help in breaking their word in trying to cancel early when to me it would be very obvious who I'd need to call. Call me crazy, but if I have one company taking money out of my checking account that I agreed to pay why would I think another company could cancel that for me ?

Regards

Kevin
