Intelicom Messaging - ESBI Criminals Henderson Nevada

Was billed $14.95 for "Enhanced Voicemail" services that I neither ordered nor knew anything about. This appeared on my Frontier Communications bill in July 09. Frontier reversed the charges immediately but advised to call ESBI directly to cancel any known account.

Called ESBI which turned out to be Intelicom Messaging (I hear this company goes by many names). The call-center person with a foreign accent wanted to spend time with me and describe their services. I insisted that I was not interested in any way and threatened legal action if she did not stop wasting my time and cancel any reference to my name and phone number. Took about 7 minutes to get her to cancel the fraudulently opened account.

Question: If the FTC has already filed a class action suit against this series of companies and there are thousands of complaints why can't they be thrown into the same pen as tele-marketers who illegally solicit you for products and services when you are on a DO NOT CALL list? Maybe if they are fined tens of thousands of dollars each time they do this it will stop.
