We received our AT&T Internet bill in the last week of July, to which we immediately noticed enhanced service fees in the amount of $14.95 per month. Since we only have Internet, and no home telephone with AT&T, our bill is always the same; so, this charge didn't slip by us, as I am sure it has others.

We immediately called the number provided on our bill, which was for Enhanced Billing Services, Inc.; "billed on behalf of Intelicom Messaging, LLC". We were transferred by ESBI to Intelicom Messaging, LLC.

The customer service rep, a lady, whose name I do not know, then began to explain to my husband, that "your wife signed up for this service online". When I stated that this was an untrue statement, she said, "do you want to cancel the service?"...well, YES! I said, "yes, cancel the service. I never signed up for any additional services, and I certainly didn't authorize these charges"! She then explained the service would be canceled immediately, and we would receive an e-mail confirmation if we would like to provide an address. We gave her an address, and we received the cancellation confirmation.

The funny thing about this is that the service we were charged for is "enhanced voicemail serivce", and we do not have telephone service!

Note to Intelicom Messaging, LLC....

Please DO NOT submit a rebuttal to this complaint, stating that you will be happy to assist if I call your toll-free number. I have spoken with your company for the LAST time, and you cannot help me any further. Do the American consumer a favor, and GET LOST with your bogus business dealings! We are not all as stupid as you wish!
