Intelius Stealing, Theft, Crap, Untruthful, Alien, Terrorists, Fake, Fraud, Lied, Sick, Horrible, Cheats, Internet

This company is the worse I have come across on the in a long time and I do a lot of work on the Internet.  I can avoid most scams, and those places that give you far less than you expect.  But this company is very, very, very bad.

I had to spend the 95 cents to see what this was all about.  I ran a report on myself to check out how good they were. Of course it is FREE to run the report, but then you have to pay to see it.

I have always considered any website a scam that tells you it is free, then you end up having to pay or download other software that you dont want, and often can harm you computer.

With what little information I put in, they were able to identify me exactly.  So they hadthat.  Then it said they had one public record and 15 Marriage & Divorce records. 

Of course Marriage & Divorce records are public anyway so the only reason to separate it out is to get you to think you are getting more than you really are. I never saw the one public record, and the 15 Marriage and Divorce records were none related to me. In other words, zero information.

I actually was laughing at this so the 95 cents was worth it in that respect.  I did call the service number and got ahold of a person sort of.  He was probably somewhere in Iran, and when I told him the information above, he was speechless (or he didnt understand English that well) or he had already hung up on me.  I dont know which as I never got a reply when I said goodbye and I waited.

So if you want a good laugh give them 95 cents, but not a penny more. But watch how you give them the credit card information.  I use a card with a very low limit and that I can control over any over charges that I dispute.

On of my first indications that this company might be a serious problem is the fact that they do not accept American Express.  That is always a red flag to me.
