POSTED: Thursday, January 26, 2012When I requested a record at the non-discounted rate of $1.95, and realized that they have absolutely NO RECORD on the person they claimed to have found, I immediately asked for a refund.
Well, they said "sure we'll refund you", but then they went ahead and signed me up for their USELESS "Fraud Alert" scam for $19.95. I told my credit card about the fraudulent charge and Intelius is disputing it, saying that I had agreed to sign up for this stupid, useless scam of theirs!!
AVOID INTELIUS AT ALL COST! THEY LIE ABOUT HAVING FOUND A RECORD YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SO THEY CAN STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND SIGN YOU UP FOR BOGUS "SERVICES" WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT.
