It wasn't a trial, they offered a lookup of info for free. In return they asked you fill out your personal info including payment info. The company stressed there was no charge. Totally free.
I sign in after supplying info and still find no membership offering so I go to their support to have them remove me from their database. What I get was a shocking:
No. Not until you prove you are who you are.
Wow! That's outrageous. What a complete bunch of dirtbags.
