This company targets mothers and children at shopping malls. They have reps at Kiosks in the mall and approach women with children with lines such as "Excuse me, how old is your child?" Once they have your attention, they state that your child has "the look" that the modeling/advertisement industry is seeking and ask if you'll provide your number for a free consultation. They called me repeatedly over the course of several days to get my family to come down for the "directors from NYC" to meet and evaluate our children. Once there, a sales manager/"director" interviewed our children, and went on and on about how well they would do in advertisement. After she had us convinced that this was a great opportunity (a way to make money for college tuition) she began the high pressured sales techniques to get us to sign for a photo session for over $2,000 for 3 children. She told us that she needed our credit card number to swipe just to "hold" the date for the photo session, but this SCAM operation processed the transaction amount immediately. Per contract/agreement InterFace Talent expects to recieve cancellation within 3 days via certified mail. We provided them with a letter of cancellation within 3 days and even after that, received a call offering a "special promotion". I denied even listening to the promotion and the manager (Greg) who called began threatening that I would not receive my money back for up to 10 weeks.
