 We took our son to Intercface on 3/27/11 after my husband and son were approached at the Monmouth Mall. In the waiting area, we were complimented by a man dressed nicely on our son and how good looking he was. We were called back to a room to meet with the Senior Development Director, Kevin Lane, the man that complimented our son. He started doing magic and talking a lot. I rolled my eyes and wanted to leave but my husband wanted to hear him out. He showed us many children that made it big using the agency, Interface, and said they have an 80% success rate.

He explained we would do a photoshoot and the rest was history. He made it sound very good to be true and never mentioned any additional expenses. He pressured us to sign up for the pictures and talked us into getting 96 images for $1395. We came for the photoshoot and the photographer was nasty, rude and had no buisness working with children. They put some gel in my son's hair and didn't help/guide us throughout the process. They didn't take the 96 images as promised and we left shaking our heads.

We thought our son was the next biggest thing so we were hopeful. We went to review the pictures and heard some very upset woman saying "Interface is a rip off, they never told us we would need to pay even more." I looked at my husband and said, "This place is a scam.:" We went into the room with Jeanette Fante and she gave us the rates to become a member. My husband became upset and told her we were never told about additional costs. 3 months- $360. 6 months- $450. 1 year- $800. We were so confused since we already paid so much for the pictures, my husband talked her down to $600 for 1 year. We never heard a peep from them after they got our money.

They started sending me these ridiculous emails requesting more money to attend Workshops. My husband called and I emailed to check the status and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I have saved many emails and the workshop invites but never got around to filing a complaint. This place is a ripp off, plain and simple. I was so mad at myself for not doing my research but my husband was so adomant about their confidence in our son. This cost us $1,9995 and we felt defeated and hopeless. I hope this can help get someone's attention that can help without costing us another small fortune for nothing.
