International Profit Associates - IPA ripoff High Pressure Sales Constantly Making Harassing Phone Calls Even When You Tell Them NO Buffalo Grove Illinois
On or about September 23, 2003 my company received a phone call from a "secretary" with IPA who was calling for her boss and wanted to speak to my husband. I informed her that he was not in and that she could reach him the next morning after 8am. The next thing you know a representative was at our business door bright and early on September 24, claiming she had spoken to me and I had made an appointment for her. Of course she gave my husband her sales pitch and then unfortunately I walked in and she continued on. She took 2 to hours of my time and 3 hours of my husbands time. Of course she wanted to send in an analyst the next day or maybe on Monday and there would be a substatiial savings if she could rush him in.
We bascially told her we would think about it and to give us a few days. The next day she was on the phone again I told her to leave me alone until the next Monday, September 29. I received several other calls and finally on Wednesday October 1 my husband told her politely don't call us we'll call you.
At approximately 12:50pm I received a call from a supervisor in their home office wanting to make me a deal of a lifetime, they would send out an analyst for free, because he was in Florida at a funeral and they had given him the week off but he wanted to work. I then said yes. I was told that he would be at my place the next morning at 10am and would be their for 2 days.
That night I did some research on the internet and thanks to your website and reading an article from INC magazine titled (I believe) Hello I'm Joe Burgess ... I have been saved a tremendous amount of grief
I then called at 7am & told them not to come and not to ever call my place of business again.
I then received 3 other calls that day. There of course have been numerous other calls since then and I have even gone to the extent of telling them that I am tracing the calls and am going to report them to the police and have them arrested.
They are still calling. Today, October 6, I received 2 calls.
They are Harassing me and my place of business.
