this company said they would rent out my timeshare for a fee. this is not legit and if a company like this asks you for money it is a scam.

I called my timeshare owner services and they confirmed that a legit rental company would not ask for money up front. that they would pay you when it has been rented and then they would take out their fee.

i have been scammed by a company like this before, they took my money, never rented it out and then closed their doors. taking my money with them.

rental scam

At least you learned your lesson. Never -EVER pay an upfront fee to rent your timeshare weeks. My sister lost $1000 USD with a company called "Executive Properties. Same thing, they asked for an upfront fee and after she gave it they disapeared. If you'd like, here you can find more information about timeshare rental scams:
