Before I purchased the kit I contacted ITC TV via their customer service number. I asked them many questions regarding expenses of starting up this program and making it run just like what was shown on TV. they said that it would be about $20 per month and that was all. I asked them several times again if that was all the expense would be and was told yes. So I took a chance and ordered it.
After spending two days solid getting this set up I was ready to sell. I contacted ITC TV to set up my merchant account. They had enclosed a flyer in my kit saying that the fee would be waived if I signed up in a certain amount of time. When I called them they said that this was not so. They said I had an option of a $500 package or a $1000 package.
I told them that the whole thing was starting to sound like a rip off as I was told that there was no other expenses other than the $20 a month. The man became very upset and told me that I had no right saying it was a rip off as they had given me a website as was promised on the TV program. I then got upset myself and said "No! What your show promised was that I could have this site up and running and making money in one day with no additional out of pocket expense"
He then said that I could go to PayPal and set up an account and then take credit card numbers and run them through PayPal manualy. So I set up an account with PayPal. Then I asked PalPay how to run credit cards manualy. PayPal told me that I could not do it that way through them.
I then contacted ITC and told them that I was not accustom to being lied too, or ripped off and that I was shipping the kit back. I then told them to send me the return number to return it with.
A week later I still had not recieved the information I wanted and my 30 day trial period was getting closer. I called them again and told them to give me the return credit number. They told me that they had never spoke with me. I then told them the exact time and date I had called and then added "If you think you can blow me off about returning this thing until AFTER my 30 day trial is up, your messing with the wrong person" With that they gave me the information I needed.
I returned it certified return receipt because I have a feeling they are going to deny that I returned it. I also have a feeling I have not had the last of my dealings with them. But they are messing with the wrong person if they think they can get away with it. I have vowed to spread the word in regards to their practices. INCLUDING starting an on line group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/shaggedbyitctv Your all welcome to join.

Internet Treasure Chest was shut down and all funds returned to those who took losses, including myself. Thanks to the many complaints filed here, to the FCT and to my personal site, action was swiftly taken.

The issue with THIS particual company is all the little "suprises" in expense that they throw your way. Most people don't like suprises. The way it is worded on their informercial is that for $59.95 you can have an internet business up and running in 20 minutes. It dosn't say it will cost you an additional $500 to $1000 for a merchant account(Which they sent me a flyer on saying the fee would be waved. Then later said the flyer didnt mean that?), not any of the other expenses. I also got suspicious of how much more they were hiding when I contacted the company direct and they told me that the only other expense would be $9.95 per month for the use of the warehouse and $9.95 per month for website hosting. I did not have a problem with that. The problem I had with them was not being totaly honest. If they would have been honest with me, I might have worked with them. I have ended up creating my own on line business for a fraction of what they would have wanted me to pay them. Yes, I agree. You can use their system to start a business.And then continue to pay them. But which is more cost effective? Paying thousands through them? Or pay hundereds and do it yourself?

I have worked on alot of different business and know that most of them work if a person will really try. the problem is it takes change and most people really are not ready for that. I was just reading the rebuttals from those who are sticking up for ITCTV. I only have one thing to say to you.
"If your not worried that it might possibly be a rip off. What are you doing here at this site?"
Add a rebuttal to mine if you wish. I will not reply, as I have been taught that to reply to someone lower than yourself only puts you at their level. I did not by the kit to get rich. Lord knows I don't need any more money. I bought it for something to do. And if I had not been lied to prior to my purchasing it, I would have paid the expenses they presented to me. Come on ITCTV, be honest. You will get nothing but bad by lieing.
