Intown Suites Wouldn't refund me lilburn, Georgia

I booked a week at InTown Suites for two family members who were coming to the U.S on vacation. Due to issues with their visas, they were unable to enter into the U.S. I called Intown Suites about their cancellation policy and was told that they don't give back refunds. Told the GM will call back need to talk to my husband. I never called back.

3 days after I decided to take my husband there so we can take a break alone after 16 months without my daughter. My husband entered his keys it wasn't working. When I peeped in there was someone in OUR room. I couldn't believe it.

So here we are expecting a refund since they were able to rent out the room. Called the GM and was told that he was going to give us a refund. After 3 weeks of calling every other day and he saying he's waiting on a responds from his Manager, I was told that we wouldn't be getting a refund. And if we have a problem we can contact corporate. Which we did but it's only a computer. Also he's refusing to give us his Manager's name.

Can you believe that they got paid twice for ONE room during the same week. We wouldn't have mind if we loss the money if the room kept empty but since they were able to book the room we want our money back. It's very unethical of them not to refund us our money.
