I AM A VICTIM, TODAY MY IDEA IS BEING SOLD EVERYWHERE,
I LOST BECAUSE OF THE INVENTION COMPANY I HAVE PAPERS AND DIAGRAMS TO SUPPORT MY STORY
IT DID TAKE PLACE A LONG TIME AGO, PLEASE GET ALL THE LEGAL ADVISE, HELP ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO GET THESE CROOKS  PUT AWAY.
THESE INVENTION COMPANIES HAVE TO CLOSE SHOP NOW,  JUSTICE HAS TO BE SERVED!
I HAVE A STORY TO TELL AND NO ONE WANTS TO HELP ME.  I DON'T HAVE CASH UP FRONT TO PAY  FOR ATTORNEY FEES  THAT IS WHY.
DON'T WASTE ANY TIME  I will help you if I can, you live in california and I live in wisconsin, so it is proven these companies operate everywhere.

Answer to your question, how to find out  Invention company has ties to mfg.                   hopefully, one way, if the invention company sent you a list of companies, check to see who is making your idea, then compare that name to your list, if the invention company gave you any mfg firms, they contacted,  [ but then again some companies are operating under different names as weel, from the list, so it may be difficult or time consuming ]  like they did to me, they mailed me pages of the companies they said they contacted. When I would call the invention company to see who was interested, [ I always followed up]      the invention company would write back to me, writing nobody responded, or they never heard a response from anyone from the mfg firms.   I saved all those letters and list.  Today my idea is being sold everywhere, as well. INVENTION MARKETING/SUBMISSION PGH  PA.  It bothers me so many people trusted this place.   in the 1980's     this place was held for deceptive business tactics, when soliciting their customers.    check this out. the company name was INVENTION MARKETING  they had to change their name to INVENTION SUBMISSION    get it,,    to  MARKET,      to  SUBMISSION       get it    title explains itself  get it?    I am still trying to get help,  told STATUTES OF LIMITATION,  hope you MOVE QUICKLY TO SEE AN ATTORNEY     NO WASTING OF TIME      CALL  FTC   ATTORNEY  GENERAL OFFICE     GET LEGAL   ADVISE   ASAP

I am a victim as well, my idea is being sold everywhere, today. I too, have a binder full of papers diagrams, postmarks, DON'T WAIT A MINUTE,   I am being told Statutes of Limitations, get an attorney.  Get the FTC .    Put my name on the list to close any of the invention companies.    I was given a two year disclosure, do you know what kind of coverage that give a person, when that company put diagrams in a trade show and then claims nodody is interested. then wait a few years and BAM, my idea is being sold everywhere all over the internet, in the magazines. and here I sit watching all this go on.   I live in wisconsin.   BAS

I was also a personal victim of their scam and I have retained an attorney.  We are pursuing one of two possible options.  There might be a manner in which my efforts can also be helpful to you and hope to correct what InventHelp has done.

You should be able to find a handful of people scammed by these crooks. I went to Invent help in colombia MD where they managed to convince me to pay $500 on the spot to get started. It was when I was paying for something else (i don't remember anymore its been a year) through their payment "middlemen" Universal Payment Corporation where I googled them for their address and I found so many complaints about them. I also got this good for nothing blue book which is most unprofessional; a kid could have written it. Im glad I didnt go along with their $10,000 plan to get the invention somewhere. In the begining when I explained that I didn't have the money he had some other plan for $3,000. The 2nd time I had a meeting with him he didn't seem to remember & offered a $5,000 plan. The 3rd time he said the $10,000 is all they offer. He just forgot that I told him before that I didn't have the means. It was all talk. Anything to get a person to start any plan; to get any money from them. there's a handfull of complaints on Google. Good luck with your class action suit.

I recently discovered that my new husband entered into a contract with Invent Help 1 year ago.  He has been making payments of $370/month for the past year. We have absolutely nothing to show for it and I do not wish to continue paying the company the $11,000 reamining balance! Does anybody have any advice for me? I am scared that if we stop paying it will destroy his credit which seems to be the case with every story I read about online.  We were hoping to purchase a house and car within the next year or two and if his credit is ruined I fear this will become impossible. Please help!

I have also lost money to inventhelp with NOTHING to show for it.   I am very interested in information about your class action lawsuit.

I also paid thousands of dollars to ISC several years ago and in return for all that money received a binder of jargon and an artists rendering of my invention. Recently I have seen my idea being sold at Walgreen's and on TV shopping channels. 
For all the money I paid I never received a patent but my idea and the product now being marketed is very similar.

I am wondering if there are ways to find out if ISC or whatever they call themselves now have any ties to the manufacturer of this product.
