Iron Doors NOW is a leader in the growing industry of Iron doors. With showrooms in 7 different states this company is truly bringing the product to the consumer. Parick Walker expresses that it's Iron Doors NOW's vision is to focus on one thing and be the best, "no other company can offer our type of quality at a lower price."
Mr. Walker explained the process of obtaining leads for his company, "we get out leads mostly from past clients who have referred their family and friends. We also advertise on multiple search engines as well as social media, which works extremely well for us." Once the initial interest has been made the potential client will reach out to Iron Doors NOW and one of their several experienced sales reps will walk them through the sales process.

During the onsite interview Mr. Walker was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received, as well as how Iron Doors NOW dealt with the complaint. Mr. Walker explained that rarely during the shipping process the door can be damaged. Mr. Walker explained his process of resolution when situations like this arise, "first, I listened to the customer looked at her pictures, and saw what the problem was. I explained that every carrier that Iron Door uses is A rated with the department of transportation. Next I found a local person in her area who could fix the problem, and we paid the bill." Customer service is at the core of Iron Doors NOW's values, "regardless of what the customer does we always follow up with each and every one of our clients. We offered to repair it, replace it, or refund it, but the client kept our door and never paid us one cent." Ripoff Report would like to let readers know that Ripoff Report emailed this customer so the member business could make things right with them. When a business joins the Corporate Advocacy Program, Ripoff Report emails everyone from the past so the member business can make things right with them. Of course, everything within reason. In order to confirm that the complaints were resolved, Ripoff Report is copied on all responses so we can insure that the member business did right by their customer. If the Report was true, this customer should have responded to Ripoff Report, but they did not.. If the claims were true that the door came damaged due to shipping.. to be fair, we all know when shipping things, there is always a good chance something will get damaged. This looks like a case of the consumer just wanted some kind of discount. They would not ship back the door.
STATEMENT FROM IRON DOORS NOW:
Iron Doors Now was refused access to repair damaged door. Client refused to return the defective item to Iron Doors Now so we could fix the damage that happened during shipping.
NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED
I ordered a door and lock set for $1900 because it was the exact size I needed and was in stock, and was informed that the only reason it was on sale was because it opened outward. I then asked if it was winterized to which I was told that it was.
I received the door with a honey like sticky substance and foam all over the sides. Patrick, admitted the door was not really winterized and he had tried to winterize it by filling it with foam. He didn't wait for the foam to dry and it subsequently spilled all over the door. He assured me it wouldn't take long to fix, he even offered to pay for repairs. My contractor had his worker attempt to fix it- he spent a day just scraping off the foam (Patrick said it could be dissoved but it couldn't be). I then had an iron door with areas that had no varnish at all, the entire door needed to be sanded and painted.
Patrick offered to send his own painter (a guy he found in the phone book or on google) who agreed to paint the door for $150 that I would pay. The painter insisted that it needed to be above 50 degrees to paint the door and so the project dragged on an entire month holding up my construction. Finally he came only to inform me that there was no way he could do the work for $150, so I asked how much he needed- he said there was no way he was touching the door at all as he couldn't guarantee that he could have it looking as good as new, and he left. At this point I called my contractor who sent a professional painter to sand and paint. It took him multiple days and 2 guys to get this door in decent shape, and the paint, unlike an iron finish has a chalkboard effect and dirt clings to it. The lock set he sent didn't even fit the door! He offered me a $200 refund for a crappy refurbished door and has sent me 100's of harassing e-mails since I disputed my credit card. I had every intention of sending him the balance after the repairs but he just kept insulting me and said he wants $1700 or nothing. To add insult to injury, my father recently passed away and he sent me this creepy e-mail
