I decided to try an online" free trial" for a teeth whitining product. I started the free trial using my bank card and was to only be charged 1.00. I checked my account as usual and saw the charge for the product had been taken out in the correct amount as the website stated. Upon further thinking I decided that it sounded too good to be true and opted to cancel the free trial. While I was trying to cancel the product I recieved a message stating that if I wanted to cancel early, I would have to pay a fee of $19 and some change. So I didn't cancel that day and decided to wait until the product showed up and return it. I recieved the product less than a week after I attempted to cancel the 1st time. When I opened the box it looked nothing like I thought it would. At the top of the package it stated that it was a "complete kit". Things started to go down hill from there, 2 days after recieving their "trial kit" my bank card was charged $78.41 and I was "conviently enrolled" (as the website states) in a membership program. I immediately called customer service and was treated like a piece of trash. "Princess" my customer service agent was rude, and very hard to talk to. She repeatedly stated that I was uneligible to recieve a refund. No reason was stated why. After speaking to the customer service agent I went to the website to read their terms and agreements. It states "that you have opted for a trial, once you recieve your product 78.41 be deducted from your account on a monthly basis unless you cancel your membership. If you signed up for an online trial and recieve your product whether its open or not you will not recieve a refund". How unfair is that. This happened within a week of signing up I feel so used and disgusted with this company. I know now that a" Free Trial" is not as it seems.
