On September 26th 2008 I placed an order and sent a wire payment for 1000pieces of BRAND NEW Macy's and Bloomingdales jewelry @ $3.25/piece including $250 shipping fee. About a week on October 3rd 2008 after I wired the money for my order, the sales rep called to let me know that they have an additional 340pieces of the jewelry and if I am interested in buying, i can have it at a discount. I initially agreed to buying the additional pieces at $1.50/pieces with the thinking this will bring my cost per piece down to just under $3/pieces.
On monday October 6th, I called Karla the sales rep to let her know that I had changed my mind regarding the additional 340pieces. She was of course very dissapointed pointing out that they gave me a very good deal. I then asked her when my order will be mailed and she said that her manager should be able to answer the question when she gets in that day in about 30minutes.
Well, after 3days of calling and emailing without any response, I sent an email to the sales@jdcloseouts.com address and finally got the manager Dalia to call me back. Dalia said she was waiting on my wire for the 340pieces and I told her that I had called Karla on October 6th to let her know that I do not want to purchase the extra pieces. She then told me that I can have the pieces for $350 instead of $510. At this point I decided to take the extra pieces. I also asked her for the manifest and she told me that she will contact Macy's to get it for me.
Well, I got the jewelry today and I only have about 1000pieces of jewelry from Macys and a lot of junk wristwatches from JCPENNEY. When I called Dalia, she was very sure that the Jewelry was complete 1340pieces even though she claim that her company did not open the boaxes after they received the jewelry from Macy's. Now, what about the junk pieces from JCPENNEY??? she claim that this was a free gift for me.
Why am I writing a Rip Off report? because I called Dalia Gold back to request the manifest that she was going to email to me and I never received. She refused to take my calls and asked all her reps not to assist me either. Now, selling junk under false pretence in one thing but bad customer service is the one that I cannot stand. I paid this company almost $4000 and believe me, I will have to throw a party if I can sell the junk that they sent me for $1000.
Anyone looking to purchase anything that JD Closeout is advertising as Macy's products can actually buy direct from MACY'S, I found out this information after been ripped off. If you need the info on buying direct from federated company which is the parent company of Macys and Bloomingdale feel free to email me and I will provide you with the information. Don't fall into the traps of the so called middlemen like I did.
I hope this will help someone out there before its TOO LATE.

Our shipping department was not aware that any pieces were missing, since the merchandise never came to our warehouse. We were told that there were additional pieces in the load so we asked our client, Ms. Jemilat, if she wanted it and she agreed to buying it. What Macy's sends from their facility is by their hands and we have no control. We shipped directly to her from them.
Regarding the manifest of the load, the client requested it yesterday and we sent it this morning. We had to put it into the proper format for email. We had no opportunity to get it sent before her complaint.
We have been fair with her and asked her to recount her merchandise. We have sent a claim request to Macy's on her behalf to see what happened to her merchandise. She never gave us the time to work on her claim or get a response from Macy's, but jumped to conclusions and posted this complaint first without waiting.
We ask any potential client that sees this case to please contact us and visit our warehouses before making any conclusions about us. This complaint is an unfair portrayal of our company and we ask Ms. Jemilat to remove it and deal directly with us to resolve and rectify the situation.
