JBC LEGAL GROUP P.C. ripoff Bloomfield New Jersey

I was concerned when I received a letter today on 4/30/04 from JBC Legal Group P.C. from 2 Broad Street 6th Floor in Bloomfield NJ 07003-2550 stating I had passed a bad check. I immediately check my checkbook for the check no 171 and I had made it out to SBC co. my phone co. but they stated I had made it to Butler (what is Butler)so I became more concerned.

Then I became alarmed because I made the check out in March 19, 1993, almost 11 years ago drawn on Town North National. Does that bank exist? I've never banked with them.

I immediately called their 1-800-241-1510 number to tell them about their mistake. The number rang and rang telling me their agents were busy, then I would be disconnected. I tried calling them several times with the same results. I thought that was funny that I was getting hung up because the letter states they are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Then I decide to input their company name onto the internet to find out about them, and boy did I find out about them. Thanks Rip-off Report.
