I can only imagine. The type of vehicles they sell are "Lemons". We are paying $421 a month for 3 years, basically due to my credit history.
When we purchased the vehicle the car fax report showed no accident history. The front bumper began to peel paint and I noticed that underneath the paint was an after market bumper. Yes the vehicle has been in an accident, so they are actually selling cars stating that the car has not accident history.
I am basically going to take the "Lemon" back and I really don't care what it does to my credit. We can't drive a car without air conditioning for 2 weeks in 100 plus temps in Texas.

You Do Make A Good Point...

What you see here is typical in the world of subprime car purchasing. For you, going subprime is the only game in town for now. To not care about what happens to your credit...maybe that's why you are subprime in the first place!
We can expect crying about an A/C, acting like its the end of the world from a woman. Come on man...you're a man...right?
Of course, if you don't care about being subprime for the rest of your life...then you know exactly what to do!

Your credit must be in the toilet

If you give it back to the dealer it is considered a voluntary repossession. This has the same effect as a regular repo. That is they will sell the car at auction for "scrap" value, which is anywhere from 25-33% of it's actual value. You will still be responsible for any balance on the loan after that is deducted. If you refuse to pay they will turn you over to a Collection Agency and may eventually sue. The only thing you have going for you is that there is no Wage Garnishment in TX, but they can still do things such as attach your bank accounts.
Oh and if you think that the interest rate you were paying here was bad. Just wait until you try and get another car with an repossession on your credit in addition what ever other credit issues you had.
