JDBYRIDER/CNAC Erie, Pa Riped me off and won't fix my van Erie, Pennsylvania

as i said you only take action based on your own reality...walk out and go where...noone will take the trade because it is a substandard vehicle and seven months to go and i still owed way more than anyone else would trade it for but that is how the program is set up cuz sure enough i got that flyer telling me i could get another car through them.  The only way out is to give the car back.  I had to bite the bullet and leave.  I did what i was supposed to.  the program is set up for people to be stuck with a perpetual high payment cycle for a car that will not be worth as much as you owe when it breaks down.  You are left with no options but to go back to them because there is no where else to go.  What do we do pay two car payments?  I think not.  You cannot get financed with a traditional bank with negative equity nor can you with two car loans.  You will either have to trade or turn in the car in order to get financing but if there is negative equity which has been my experience twice with them you can't...It is what it is and if you are fortunate enough not to have fallen into a trap such as this then i give you props but those of us who are tend to get stuck.  I left them and will never go back.

I feel that you are blaming the victim for being victimized.  We only take action based on our own reality so if your reality isn't hers than you would have no idea how she got into the position she was in when she got her vehicle and more so why she ended up with JD Byrider.  I also have had the same trouble with my van same type of payments etc...I have been with them for 8 years with a couple different cars and no sooner than i hit the one year to go and she's paid off mark, the car breaks down and the warranty either doesn't cover the (expensive) repair or the warranty is lapsed.  Of course they will save the day by letting you buy another car because you can't possibly trade the car in anywhere else because you will owe waaay more than what they are willing to give you for trade in.  They are predatory lenders and their customer target are low/fixed income individuals and they keep them stuck in a perpetual high payment cycle...only 50% of the cars sold by JD byrider actually  make it to the end of the loan term.  My transmission went on my car and they were willing to do a service contract for a year for a twelve hundred dollar job.  I would have had to pay not my normal 365 payment but an extra hundred dollars not to mention the rockers were rusted out so i couldn't get it inspected.  The other choice was to get a new car from them...they were picking the car and the cars they were picking were downgrades from my current vehicle...2002 chrysler town and country which i paid 15,000 for.  They also informed me my payments would be higher.  I as i am sure the original comments owner make all of my payments and have for eight years.  They won't even tell you what the price of t he car is until you sign the paperwork.  after five hours of sitting you aren't going to walk out of there without a car.  

Most people don't know how t he loan process works or auto loans for t hat matter until they have one.  If this was their first experience with a car loan how could she know.  Some people don't necessarily have bad credit as they have no credit...Judgements placed upon someone because of a situation they are in or in some ways forced into is unfair.

Why would you assume there were no taxes or license fees?

Your credit must be in the sewer to have to deal with this company.

After all that, I hope you can find an inexpensive way to get your Safari running reliably.

You do know that you're paying interest on this loan and the $355 doesn't go totally to your balance still due.  Usually in the earlier payments on a loan, a large percentage goes to the interest.

I think I'm beginning to understand why you have bad credit.
