I read the other reports listed here when it was too late. I was already over 9 months into the loan modification. If you are in my shoes, run!  Ask for a refund and never look back. They will not "negotiate" for you. They will do what you can easily do yourself and contact the lender. That is all they do. They shuffle papers and charge you for it. In the end, they will not be there for you. They will ignore your emails and phone calls (I have a year full of proof!).  The sales people are good at making you feel that you are in the hands of lawyers who will negotiate for you.  What a joke. 

Here is what we ended up with - they not only did not reduce our principle (which they said they would), they made it to where the mortgage company added over 15 thousand dollars to the loan!!!!! Seriously.  Then they left us.  They would not answer emails or phone calls.  They do not uphold their side of the contract, but the way they get out of it is to just ignore you.
Yes, Mr. Smith has a posting on here that tells you to call him and he will tell you that all that is written here is a few unhappy people.  Bunk.  He contacted me through his mobile phone and told me that he would personally help us. He is a liar. 

We trusted them. We got burned. We were left with the choice of either taking the offer (with more than we owed going into this thing) or losing our home. What a choice. 

All we can say is run! Do not sign anything with these people. They do NOT have your best interest at heart.  Go to a reputable law firm or contact the lender.
