I called JK harris to make an appointment at 4:30 pm. When I showed up the lady in Houston told me she could not keep the appointment because she had other business to attend to. She did not call prior to the appointment to reschedule, instead wasted my time and gas to find out I had to come back another day. The day I came back she reviewed my case and told me she needed $300 down to start with the paper work and $160 per month after for the total sum of $1600 to protect me from having levys and do my taxes. A month later I turned in all the paper work of all tax papers that she requested. From that point on I did not hear anything from them about my case. The only thing I received was tax letter updates by e-mail and through the mail monthly bills. I called for the status on my case and was told they had not received any of my paperwork. I re-submitted a second time, at that time I received notice of a payroll levy. When I called the 1-800 number of JK Harris they could not find me in their computer. I called a second time, they then were able to pull up my file and told me they still had not received any paperwork. I kept calling because the levy took $1600 and was left with only $250.00 of my paycheck. I was very upset and kept calling by the end of the working day they called me to tell me they had received my paperwork and would be working on it. In the beginning I was told my tax debt was not that big of a problem, and I would not have to worry about a levy, that I would be protected by them. When I finally got in touch with the lady in Houston from JK Harris, she said I'd need to come into the office and meet with her. At that time I could not make it until late evening, she said she would wait for me. We met at 7pm, at that time told me that I agreed to pay JK Harris $1600 dollars to do only my taxes only when in fact she let me to believe in the beginning that the $1600 dollars was for taxes and to protect me from any levy's. At the 7pm meeting she had the balls to ask for more money to stop the levy. I told her I could not pay her anymore money that this was included in the original contract that I had signed in the beginning, she informed me "NO" that was not what we had agreed on that we would handle any levy's at a later date. Why would I hire a tax preparer out of state for $1600 dollars to do my taxes when I could have had them done locally for less than a thousand. She told me it would take $650 dollars more in cash to stop the levy. I told her how could I pay her any money when IRS just took $1600 dollars out of my paycheck leaving me with only $250 dollars for me and my family to live off of per week. She told me the only way to stop the levy's was to pay $325 dollars down and $300 dollars in two weeks. Eventhough I now make $250 dollars a week out of my normal wages. I feel that she did this purposley to make JK Harris more money. Not caring about me, my wife, my two year old daughter and son. So she filled out a contract and told me to have my wife call her the next morning with bank account numbers to make payments to them. The entire time acting as if this was all my mistake, not taking any blame upon herself. Question, how many more people have been taken advantage of in this manner? JK Harris will loose an awful lot of weight before he gets another dime from my family!!!!!

As the child of CPA - find a REAL tax attorney - These idiots only want your money like that idiot Ronny Deutch - they care nothing about your situation because if they did then you would not be in this situation after giving them your money
NO you cannot win when it comes to the IRS - Start using a CPA or other reputable service in the future for you taxes - NEVER ignore the IRS because they will take everything tangible
Good luck to you - sue these idiots in small claims court
