JMW Financial Services Scam! Work at home rip-off! Mesa Arizona

I responded to an ad in the paper to work at home. I spoke to a woman named Kim. She told me that they were with FHA/HUD, which works with people who have mortgage refund checks coming to them and they didn't know it. The tracer is supposed to write a letter to these people and let them know that there is money waiting for them. The people are supposed to respond back and they are supposed to get their refund check. They also said that they are working for the federal government. Well I was willing to do this so I gave the lady my account number and check number.

The next day, my brother got into a terrible accident and I had to pay his emergency room co pay. Therefore this check I just gave to Kim wouldn't be available. I called her and left a message stating that I had a family emergency and I can't do it at this time. I also said that I am doing to put a stop payment on the check because the funds aren't there. I also called the following week and talk to a live people... she said it's okay we won't send the stuff out to you and let us know when you can join us again.

Now 4 months later I receive a collection notice from Pacific Creditors Association saying they can't help me and that if I didn't pay this then it will be on my credit report. This is ridiculous because I didn't even receive the kit and I didn't even get a message from JMW that I owed them that. This is crazy because I called them twice and told them about my situations.

Please someone help because I can't afford this on my credit and I don't have $101.14 to give to these people.
I am also going to write to the better business bureau and write letters to the company because I hate for this to happen to anyone else. So, I guess the federal governement is also involed in this scam!!!

Also the number that they gave to me in January has been busy for the last couple of days If anyone knows the real number, please e-mail me. thanks
