This company gets away with murder in the treatment of its employees. The owner John Beyer bullies and assaults his employees,cheats the IRS and blatantly forges records to fill his pockets with money. He also makes the older salesmen work longer hours than the younger ones which is age discrimination.
His pompous "I'm God" attitude ( he thinks) entitles him and his office management to get away with anything and abuse me and former employees.
You would think that this former President of LIMSA (Long Island Moving and Storage Association) would be an ethical honest,fair human being but he is not- he's an animal!! As an employee at the firm I was forced to leave after 7 years because of his abusive treatment and unbelievable tirades and uncontrolable anger. Sure he and his cohorts will try to cover this up so I'm hoping that other former employees who have felt or were treated the same will speak up and tell the truth about this animal.Patty,Alex,Kevin,Jimmy, Patricia and Linda I hope you read this and comment on John Beyer - the man who thinks he is the commander of the universe and can as an owner get away with anything!
John Beyer was the Proctor for the Certified Moving Consultant test that is from the American Moving and Storage Association. As proctor he sat there
with his salesmen and actually gave these salesmen including myself the answers to the test,submitted the tests to the American Moving and Storage Association.Sure a few days later we all received our passing grade for this industry certification program. This is truly wrong and unethical.The reason was greed on his part so he would have an edge on the competition . A few days later we were all listed on our website as "Certified Moving Consultants".
I believe strongly in God, ethical treatment and fairness in trade and fairness to employees.This is not exhibited in this company.On another occasion he actually assaulted the receptionist by grabbing her hands and drawing blood by doing so.I would have had him arrested if he had done that to me.That receptionist could not take it either and left the company a week after I did.
A sheep in wolves clothing.How does he get away with cheating the IRS out of money (oh he told me the accountants have it all worked out so the IRS would not know) he pays workers cash or combination of cash/check. I guess all that cash he hides helps pay for the $90,000 car he drives (one of many he owns) instead he should give long term employees a bigger raise. So many times employees came to me and stated I've been here x years and all I received was a 25 cent or 50 cent raise per hour.Perhaps he should change his selfish ways and instead of eating at the best restaurants a number of times a week or buying $600 concert tickets give this money to his hard working employees.And what about those weigh tickets that are sometimes doctored to increase the customers bill? The General Inspector for the Federal Government should ask me about that.
I as an ex employee would never recommend anyone to move or work for this firm.The owner is an ego maniac who lacks good moral and ethical business acumen.
And you haven't heard the last word on this discriminatory,unethical and abusive company!
