We filed Loan Mod April 2009. Faxed paperwork over and over as Chase never got it. Chase told us not to make our trial mod payments because we were not behind and Chase could help us until we were behind. Never got loan mod. Put home up for short sale. Chase declined decent offer. Signed Deed in Lieu back to Chase in January 2012. It's now August, 2012. The house is still empty. The house is still in our names. We have bills from the town for water and lawn care. We are getting tax bills. The town told us WE were depreciating the neighborhood. We loved that house and didn't want this to happen. It happened this way because Chase said we qualified for the loan mod we never got. My husband had a heart attack right after we left our home. 5 days after. Any attornies our there suing? I've now spent hours on the phone with Chase trying to get the house out of our names. Bad enough to loose your home and this surfaces after 6 months. Help please.
