BUYER BEWARE! Owner Jack Evans and his staff truly "Take the customer out of building a custom Home". Having his company build our dream home was a big mistake. Over one year into construction and still not finished. Every sub-contractor Timbercraft used had to make multiple trips to the house to finish ths job gecause of mistakes or simply lack of skill.. The painters were by far the worst, especially at doing specialty finsihes. We ended up taking over the specialty paint finishes ourselves because their subs just could not get it done without creating more damage than progress. I could write a book on the nightmare problems caused by timbercrafts sub-contarctors in building our dream home. Timbercrafdt will try to lure you in wihth a GREAT PRICE but then you find out all the fixtures and appliances you are budgeted for are of "Tract-home" quality hardly suitable for a "custom Home". Try to call Jack Evans the owner to discuss issues, well good luck. The man has an office full of minions to be his mouthpiece. The one time I actually talked to him on the phone I was yelled and belittled like I was some kind of idiot. IN SHORT, DISRESPECTFUL TO THE CUSTOMER, INEPT SUB-CONTRACTORS, HORRIBLE FOREMAN WHO NOT ONCE HAD THE HOUSE PLANS WITH HIM WHEN WE MET HIM ON THE JOB-SITE. ARGUMENTATIVE EMPLOYEES WHO HAD NO IDEA ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I have spent many thousands of dollars correcting the problems created by Timbercrafts sub-contractors. they refuse to correct all but the smallest of problems.
