About two months ago, Jackson Hewitts vehicle collided into my vehicle so hard that my 2001 Suburban was not drivable. My wife and 17 month old child were shaken up badly. To this day Rhonda Steed who works for the company has been ignoring my calls and hasn't helped me out at all.
The accident was clearly their fault according to the police report and wittnesses. After numerous attempts to contact them, no one from the company has come foward to even find out if my wife and child are ok and not to mention that I am still out of a vehicle.
As large a company as Jackson Hewitt is with a reputation to hold, it's a mystery to me as to why they continue to treat me this way. All I'm asking is for fairness, fix my vehicle and to compensate me for a rental car.

ive been in a wreck also that wasnt my fault. and that was 7 years ago the person never called me either.so you see if they work for jackson hewitt or not you are doing great to find compassionate people in this world. im sure your mad with her who wouldnt be but you have to see that se is also a person and probly doesnt know how to confront you about it

As a matter of fact, the vehicle that ran into my wife and child by running a red light was a rental that Rhonda Steed rented through the franchised tax office. If I remember correctly, I'll have to look at the police report again, her son was driving the vehicle, no insurance, just one block away from the store, mid day AND to this day, still no phone calls, not even to apoligise.

Not all Jackson Hewitt's are franchises. There are nearly 500 Company Owned Locations. Ronda Steed is an Area Director (one level above District Manager) for Jackson Hewitt's company owned offices and is a Cendant employee.
This individul that hit you is most likely a DM, ADM, Tech, Marketing Coordintor, Office Supervisor or some other Distict Support Personnel. They work long hours so if this happened at 2 am DO NOT assume that they were not on company business. They may very well have been. In my District we did not compensate people who used logos on their personal vehicles but they do get paid mileage for any company related business.

Jackson Hewitt offices are franchises; they are owned by individuals. The parent company is Cendant, based in New Jersey, but they are not responsible for the private behavior (including bad behavior!) of individual franchise owners. So when a Jackson Hewitt office is run poorly, or an owner is irresponsible, the problem is the owner, not the franchise.
It appears that someone, very likely the franchise owner, has Jackson Hewitt advertising on their vehicle. Whoever was driving the vehicle is responsible for the accident; the franchise owner is [also] responsible if the driver was another person acting on behalf of the franchise owner.
I hope that the individual responsible for your accident has been made to reimburse you by now.
It appears that someone, very likely the franchise owner, has Jackson Hewitt advertising on their vehicle. Whoever was driving the vehicle is responsible for the accident; the franchise owner is [also] responsible if the driver was another person acting on behalf of the franchise owner.
