As a owner operator leased to this company I found out the hard way how slick this company is.They said they pay 100% fuel sur-charge but refuse to put it in your contract.They said they have outbound freight going to all 48 states,after 2 years of working for them I only seen the northeast ,Texas and Colarado.These are the worst paying backhaul states in the USA.(excluding Fla.) The latest scam is to charge you for special logs and write down t-shirts on your settlement sheets because its illegal to make you buy them !!I am in a legal battle to get out from them,but I bought a truck from 304 truck and trailor which is also owned by James R Smith.This is another company to be carfull dealing with!! They prey on 1st time truck buyers and send them over to the JRS trucking company to to fill them with lies that will NOT BE IN YOUR CONTRACT!!! If you have any doubt about this report get a copy of their contract and send it to OOIDA. They will evaluate it for free if you are a member.Please beware of this company.May God guide you in your investigation.
