Jamie Hanson conned me into believing I was the love of his life and that he wanted a future with me for financial gain. I invited him to stay at my home for a few weeks until he was able to find a place in my area. He had no car and used my cars. When he arrived in my home, his behavior was highly suspicious and I knew he was hiding something. He had no money when he arrived here. I knew he had financial issues, but had no idea that he could not afford to even buy food. He stayed for a year without paying rent or utilities. My utilities tripled while he was there. I lost my job and was paying the added expense of utilities, groceries and gasoline from him living with me. The first four months he was there, he paid for absolutely nothing except his cell phone bill and the Direct TV bill, which he required for his sports channels. I did not have Direct TV prior to him moving in and did not need it. After four months, he paid for a portion of his groceries and a small amount towards gasoline, but I still continued to pay for some of his food and gasoline. My grocery and gasoline bills also tripled and I paid more than I ever paid on fuel even when I had a regular job. After a 13 month relationship, I discovered he had lied about where he lived when I met him and that he actually was living with a girlfriend when we met. He moved out of her home and into mine on the same day. He had been using my vehicles and putting excessive miles on them to see her without my knowledge, lying and saying he was going to meetings or visiting friends. I cannot afford to replace my cars with my current financial situation, which he was well aware of, yet he continued to use me for a free place to live and for use of my vehicles. I begged him for the truth and he lied on a daily basis. He got angry and told me he did not need to live here being accused of things he was not doing. He claimed he was not lying, but did so for over 13 months until I called the woman and found out the truth. I also gave up on two occasions my frequent flyer miles that I worked many, many years to obtain, in order for him to see his family. I also gave him a credit card in his name on my account to give him the ability to do work which required a credit card, so that he could help buy his own groceries. He charged $500 on it and has not paid anything since I kicked him out. I have been left to pay the minimum payments, even though I cannot afford it. I NEVER would have assisted this man in any way financially, had I known the truth. He was a manipulative con artist who tried to make me believe I was neurotic and crazy when I questioned his actions and behavior.
