I too have been wronged and ripped off by Jani King. I have purchased a franchise years ago, and have seem to have had issues with them on & off for years.
Specifically, about 3 or 4 years ago with Richard Boyd when they hired my employees behind my back and took my contracts back from me. They also after promising me and making arangements with me to sell me a contract that i was doing, they then sold it to someone else instead.
Recently however, they said there were complaints about a large contract i had and they told one of my employees that i was fired!( told me later...imagine that!) That started the whole ball rolling again...
I was locked out from taking my own equipment and supplies that i purchased, and later given pages of "bills" and "charges" from them. I am still waiting for a meeting with whoever they decided on the day that needs to be there, this is a week now and nothing even remotely close to being settled.
They again took a contract from me and hired my employee behind my back --even though my employee was the one cleaning the contract they took from me.
Through the months of having this large contract i had to take advances from them since i was not even making enough to cover my payroll.
Again another issue since they wanted me to keep on people that were cleaning at that contract before i took it. I kept these people on, which was a big mistake since jani king would have them to things for them directly and i was the one paying them.
As a small business owner if this contract kept going i would have been in the poor house. They charge people what they want and when they want and you just have to accept it. Their fees are unclear and their charges to them are constant!
