I took my car in because once because it had an oil and a leaking high pressure power steering hose. The owner, I think Kevin an Asian fellow, claimed he could fix it cheaper than the dealer and that he was a certified mechanic. Kevin quoted me a price the same as what dealer costs just to start, and then he then tried to convince me he was saving me money.
He claimed he would use "Genuine Nissan parts"" and he had a quality shop comparable to the dealer. After he repaired the hose it started leaking again. I check it and found out it was a re-manufactured hose from an aftermarket hydraulic company. The owner, the Asian, then tried to convince me this was a better hose but it started leaking soon after it was replaced. Kevin refused to fix the leaking hose he installed. He didn't even replace the crush washer on the high pressure fitting that leads into the power steering pump. This requires replacement per Nissan.
The second time my car was taken in by my sister for a leaking oil pan. He charged her up to $180 dollars to replaced the oil cooler housing unit that sits between the oil filter and engine. The only thing he did was tighten the cooler unit to the engine. This started leaking again soon after because it wasn't torqued to specification. He ripped my sister off some money for services and parts he did not provide.
This shop is a total rip off!! They claim to have cheaper prices and use better parts but they use cheap parts, they don't fix the problem, and refuse to own up to their own mistakes. The only way you would know this is if you worked on vehicles before. This Asian is a total liar, untrustworthy, and just he will not fix your car right. He wants you to keep coming back over and over again.
