Jared Shafer bribed my attorney. My mother was assigned a guardian by the Nevada courts because her children didnt live in Nevada. My sister and I wanted to take care of her, but commissioner Jon Norheim (he lack's the decorum of a real judge) wouldnt allow mom to leave the state. I hired a lawyer named Shelly who came to Vegas from Ohio. In the beginning she appeared to be honest. As time went on strange behavior on the part of my attorney began to occur. Shelly stopped returning phone calls, answering E-mails, and when we talked, she stressed the importance of working with the guardian. Mom died without being allowed to leave Nevada. I got a call from my attorneys sister Pam, who told me Shelly through Jared Shafer was receiving indigent cases from Clark County. Jared Shafer had made this possible by introducing Shelly to the public guardian. On the final settlement of moms affairs, Shafer tapped me on the shoulder and said "it is not nice to fool with Mother Nature. He then started to laugh as he walked away. Mr. Shafer is a very cruel man. He enjoyed taunting me after Jon Norheims court ruled in his favor. If you have Mr. Shafer as your Nevada guardian, report him to the department of justice. If the government gets enough reports, this family rip off will stop.
