Jason Raffa Gwd Web Inc. BEWARE of Jason Raffa, He is a Fraud Who Calls Himself a Web Designer! Internet

After discussions on 2 long telephone conversations, I hired Jason Raffa on Sept.5th,2012, to edit 1 web theme, as he advertised on his web page He represented himself to be a very experienced web designer, and promised to deliver my web theme in 2 days. He sounded truthful, polite, and responsible young man, who had to make a living to support his young children, who had just lost his job and was doing better on his own. He not only offered to design my new theme for $100. which I could use with my own domain name, but additional technical support after my website was up and running. He said he was getting a very powerful server to host themes like mine, for an additional $75. I paid him a total amount of $175.

In the past I only pay 1/2 of the bill for this sort of service, but I went ahead and paid him, since he promised the work done in a few hours. He thanked me for putting my trust in him. And that is the last sensible thought I got from him. As soon as he received the online payment, he did not answer my phone calls, answer my email with a few incoherent syllables, and kept replying excuses, and more excuses on why he hasn't been able to finish my theme. showed anger in his emails saying I was being unreasonable for expecting the work he had offered so soon. Then he kept changing his story, at which time, on September 12th, 1012 I asked for my money back, since he hasn't delivered his work.

From then on, he was on denial of our agreement, he wanted to charge me more for additional time he will have to put on a theme I never saw, using a template from another company, also at an additional cost to me, and kept saying people takes advantage of him and proceeded to send me a blank page which he claimed was the theme. Then I knew, I wasn't going to get anywhere.

I have reported him to authorities in the Florida Better Business Bureau, State of Florida, Div. of Regulatory Consumer Services and will take this matter to the Florida Attorney General if necessary. This ill will individual should be banned from the internet. Meantime, he continues to prey on well intentioned and hard working people.
