Jay Investment Company Vicki - Sales Agent spoke with Paris Rental, Homeaway.com Coconut Grove, Florida

Found a Paris residence for rental on Homeaway.com, this person contacted me via email and said the one I wanted wasn't available but they had another apartment that was available for our stay.  I only communicated with them via e-mail at vrservices@mail.com, sent me a contract told me needed the $1463.00 USD for the five nights plus a $750 USD Security Deposit which would be return 30 days after our stay.  First red flag was they CASHED my security deposit, but thought that was a standard thing.  Well its been almost 50 days and I have yet to get my $750.00 USD return from my security deposit.  They are not answering my emails or faxes, have emailed everyday and faxed to their offices.  When I click on the website, it is no longer active.  Also Homeaway.com has told me they are not longer affliated with their website as well.

Total rip off and so disppointed, I personally think these folks rented out this apartment in Paris without the owners even knowing.  There were some strange things going on the apartment during our stay.  We were promised internet and the tv would work, neither one did.  Just a very weird situation, but at least we had a place to stay when we arrived.  Unlike the person who may a complaint already about Jay Investment Company, they lost all of their monies and didn't even have an apartment in Paris...
