Do not do business with Jeff Glovsky of the OFFMAR group I wired him money for an apartment in Miami and when it came time to enter the apartment he said it was "overbooked" and he refused to give me my money back. He then said he would put me up in a nice hotel for my trouble, and he would pay for it, but when I got home I was charged for the whole amount because his credit card info was invalid. He then said he would send me a check and of course the check bounced. There is nothing this guy says that is honest and he will lie without regret he even has a website where he claims that no body "understands him". He is a cheat and a loser do not do business with him or his company you will be SCAMED!!!

To follow up on our previous rebuttal to Mr. Joseph Delisi Jr. and add further perspective to his claims and name-calling:

 

As stated:  

When Joseph D****'s winter rental became unavailable, he was offered EVERY compensation:  including, as he points out, the "nice hotel".  First of all, he was offered an alternate apartment - which he accepted by flying to Miami and staying in the "nice hotel" for two days while the apartment became ready.

The money that he sent to us was paid to the owner of that apartment.

At some point during his weekend stay in Miami, he checked out of the hotel and returned to New York.  Our efforts to reach him to arrange move-in to the alternate apartment were unsuccessful. 

The owner of the alternate apartment, which was arranged to be provided for Mr. Delisi under the circumstances at the last moment, was left with an empty apartment and no tenant, wondering what happened after she accepted (at the last moment) the rental situation that was imposed on her, and dealt with her own inconveniences in making every effort to accommodate it.

That Joseph Delisi would not only expect, but demand a full refund for a situation that he only made unnecessarily worse, is practically inconceivable.  But again, not unexpected:  we all saw this coming, and now we are taking legal means to stop it coming from him any further.

Despite all of the above, Joseph Delisi Jr. is still welcome to redeem the credit voucher he has been issued (in the amount of $3400) ... and despite losing the rent money that he sent us because he decided to opt out of his rental agreement at the last minute, we would still have considered a full or partial refund to him, if he had chosen to be reasonable, professional, non-abusive and non-threatening.  He did not.

This is more than unfortunate, but we all saw it coming:  the complainant is unreasonable, furious and vaguely unhinged.  A criminal harassment lawsuit has been filed against him in Hoboken, New Jersey, where he resides.

When Joseph D****'s winter rental became unavailable, he was offered EVERY compensation:  including, as he points out, the "nice hotel".  First of all, he was offered an alternate apartment - which he accepted by flying to Miami and staying in the "nice hotel" for two days while the apartment became ready.

At some point during his stay, he checked out of the hotel and returned to New York.  Our efforts to reach him to arrange move-in to the alternate apartment were unsuccessful.  Mr. D**** was unresponsive.  He chose instead to begin a bizarre campaign of personal attacks, insulting and deriding me personally in email after email - rejecting every professional (company) effort to resolve his situation for him.

It was finally decided to let him flail.  By rejecting every solution that was offered, AND coming across as a nasty, abusive low life, Joseph D**** Jr. forfeited the company's offer to cover his two-night hotel stay; that offer was rescinded and we will not pay for his weekend stay in Miami Beach.

Regarding the money he did indeed send by wire transfer for his rental:  He has a redeemable credit voucher in the full amount of the monies paid, which he is welcome to use at any time during its period of validity:  up to one (1) full year from the origination date.  In Mr. D****'s case, we offered the credit to him from the date his rental was scheduled to begin: 

Joseph D**** Jr. has a redeemable credit voucher for any rental property or corporate service that my company offers, in the amount of $3,400 USD, valid until March 1st, 2014.

It is not the policy of my company to issue refunds.  Instead, in the event of an overbooking (no quotes) or similar situation, we will offer full credit, which we have done in this case.  As Mr. D**** was advised numerous times:  we would have considered to make an exception and refund his money to him in full, contingent upon him ceasing his nasty, unwarranted personal attacks and public campaigning ... which have been going on now since mid-March.  He has refused to do so, and refused every reasonable offer and every solution.

We will see Mr. Joseph D**** in court.
