Jeff Turns JMT Contracting stole our money and did nothing harrisburg, Pennsylvania

 how do i contact you?  And how will you set this straight?

Please contact me and I hope the info I have will be what you all need to clear up this whole disaster JMT has created.

This is in reply to one of the comments on this report. I will be writing my own report seperately regarding my dealings with this guy.

I am the owner of 55 S Front St and have been working with my neighbor at 53 S Front St (we are a connected duplex) regarding this issue. To save face for my neighbor, regarding the comment about flipping 53 S Front St, the owner of 53 S Front St may or may not choose to flip the property depending on how everything goes when the renovations are complete. My neighbor claims no connection to the contractor Jeff Turns, Sr. who is in question in this report.

Jeff Turns has been working at 53 S Front St doing renovations on an old dilapidated property. The contracted work being done is not structural in nature at 53 S Front Street, then on (or around) 5/16/14, one of the main support beams in the basement of 53 sunk about 1 1/2" overnight. In a panic, the contractor told both my neighbor and my family that the house was not safe to live in and that we must sleep somewhere else that night. He put a single 18k-26k lb pole jack in (might I add that he put them in upside down for working with wooden structures) and then said it was safe to come back in. He claimed to have put the pole in "finger tight" however the way the pad of the pole jack was facing on the beam and far it sunk into the beam, it looked like it was much more than "finger tight". A week later tried to convince me that the house had sunk even further by putting his full weight on the jack and thrashing around to show it wasn't moving. I have no way of knowing how truthful he was about putting that pole jack in "finger tight" as I was not present to watch him put it in.

The above notice regarding where Jeff Turns was going to be next was posted by my grandmother, a real estate agent, who was very concerned for us and has reason to believe this guy is a sheister. I want to clear some things up about the owner of 53 S Front St, as I believe he is not at fault and not "in on some con" with this Jeff Turns fellow. The owner of 53 S Front is still on the fence about staying here or flipping it depending on how the work goes, so I'm writing this to aleviate any ill will towards my neighbor. Definately not sure about Jeff Turns.

Jeff Turns has claimed that his ex-wife bought out his JMT Contracting company and ran it into the ground, thus sullying his name. However, from other reports I've seen of him on this site, I doubt that it's his ex-wife that's ruining his "good name". I have been advised to submit a police report, and that is what I'm planning to do. Best case scenario for him, this guy's story may be true and the police won't have to do anything except ask a few questions and confirm his story.

Jeff Turns, if you're reading this, you'd better have some rebuttals ready.

Jeff Turns will be at 55 S. Front Street, York Haven, PA at 1pm on Memorial Day - 5/26/14.  This is a double house and he has offered a review of cost to firm up the center basement wall.....we have advised our grandson to get a second opinion before handing over any money.  53 S. Front Street was purchased to flip and the person who is doing the flip suggested using Jeff Turns.

Him and his company are the worst. Do you have their address? We know they have moved and we need to know where he is.
